What is an immigration psychological evaluation?

A clinical evaluation that documents the psychological impact of trauma, abuse, hardship, or persecution for use in immigration proceedings. It includes interviews, assessments, and a written report tailored to the case type.

Most evaluations involve 2–3 hours of interview time, with a final written report delivered within 2–3 weeks. Expedited timelines are available when needed.

Yes. Direct attorney collaboration is part of every evaluation, including drafts, feedback, and case-specific tailoring.

Evaluations are conducted by secure video. This is widely accepted by USCIS and immigration courts, and makes the process accessible across the country.

Therapy

Who do you typically work with in therapy?

High-achieving Asian American women navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and cultural/family pressures — though I welcome anyone whose story I can hold well.

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Initial intakes may run longer.
